Lenny Looks Terrific Here

Meet Lenny Eisenberg ( photos.lennyeisenbergart.com/ ) who really is no stranger to many photographers. You see Lenny Eisenberg took one of the most famous photos of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock in August 1969 (see it below). Lenny a young reporter/photographer was there to capture images of Hendrix and armed with a few rolls of film he set out to do just that…….

I met Lenny Eisenberg at the largest Photo Store in NYC, B&H Photo, where Lenny works as technical expert teacher of fine photo techniques. We chatted and had a fun time, Lenny was easy to talk to and despite being a photographer, he was also a wonderful fun subject.

Lenny went on to tell me he was down to his last roll of film and had shot 35 exposures of a 36 shot roll when Hendrix made a final appearance. Lenny wanted a shot of the famous Love Sign that Hendrix sometimes did with one finger raised in the air. Well Lenny got his shot with the last click of the shutter and what a shot it turned out to be….
